How to Bypass the iPhone 6s Plus Activation Lock

With a new iOS device comes a new way of doing things. The activation lock has been introduced with the iPhone 6s Plus, and it is there to help prevent unauthorized access to your phone if it gets stolen or lost. The feature is turned on by default, and it requires your Apple ID and password before anyone can be able to use your iPhone 6s Plus. If you forgot your password or don't know what the ID is, then you might end up with a useless device. This article will show you some ways on how you can bypass the activation lock on your iPhone 6s Plus.

1. Bypassing the activation lock takes time

The iPhone Activation Lock is a security feature that, when enabled, prevents Apple ID from being used without the associated Apple ID and password. The Activation Lock is enabled by default on devices running iOS 7 or later. If the Activation Lock is enabled, you have to enter the Apple ID and password used to set up the device before you can:
It’s pretty straightforward and doesn’t take any extra effort. It’s mainly a problem in devices where the phone is lost or stolen. As long as you remember the Apple ID password, you can now manually activate your iPhone to use it. It always works without any extra effort either.
Some people might think this method is insecure and can bypass the Activation Lock. But that might not be the case. Before explaining the three methods of bypassing the Activation Lock, it would be helpful to mention some security tools that you should know to increase your security.
Several other methods are not mentioned here that offer similar benefits when it comes to security. If you do some digging and learn additional ways to lock your iPhone, then you can also try the three methods mentioned in the article.
In iOS, there are two ways to lock the phone. The step-by-step process of unlocking and locking your iPhone will differ depending on which one you use. So, before knowing the default Apple ID and password for unlocking your iPhone, you need to change them.
To reset your iPhone:
When you try to unlock your phone again, it will ask you a second time for your Apple ID and password. So, proceed with the step until you enter the correct Apple ID and password again. At that point, the iPhone will prompt you for a confirmation, then automatically lock and erase after entering all the necessary info on the next screen.
To lock your phone:
On the device screen, next to the lock status, there is a small padlock icon. A person can't easily unlock your things if you don’t know where to find them.

2. Be prepared for any errors that might occur

No matter how well prepared you are for a talk, things can and will go wrong. The best thing you can do is to be prepared for anything that might go wrong: be ready with a backup plan, a backup to your backup plan, and a backup plan for your backup plan.

Bullet Point:1. Be enthusiastic about your work.2. Go to your backup plan and backup everything that can go wrong in case what you are doing goes wrong.
The activation lock prevents someone else with access your phone if you forget your password. Even though the next time you turn on your phone, there will be an alert asking for your password. Before you can leave your house with all your stuff, you need to re-enter your password.
Only active Apple users have access to your Family Sharing ledgers, and those who are not Apple users can’t even access these. Let’s put this into safe words in your head: unless you know the person who is going to do something illegal with your stuff, you shouldn’t share it with them. Not only because you might lose your stuff, but also because you are putting from your own safety. If they steal or lose your phone, it is in the worst state. Your information could be in the hands of the wrong person!
Several backup options are ready to go to instantly restore your iPhone 6s Plus to its full abilities. From my experience on Windows, iCloud, and Dropbox, I recommend downloading the Unetbootin application from the App Store or Google Play. This procedure never drains your battery, and it is ready to use the very next time you turn on your iPhone 6s Plus. This application tells you where your apps are stored and where their data is stored, so it is a good backup upgrade option in case you need to restore your phone to its factory settings in the future.
If you share your phone with someone else, make a backup copy of all the important communication and media files.

3. Use trustworthy methods to bypass the activation lock on your phone

If you’ve ever lost your iPhone or Android phone, you know how terrifying it is. It’s the worst feeling in the world. You can’t find it, you can’t access it, and you start to panic. Feeling helpless, you keep looking online for solutions on how to find your device.
Well, now this isn’t the case anymore. With Apple’s new iOS 13, the loss of an iPhone or an Android phone can’t affect the data of your other iDevices.
With a better authentication method, you won’t have to worry anymore. However, you should be aware of how Apple CarPlay will work on your new device. The new iOS 13 has been developed with the iPad in mind. Now that makes two something that should not be a problem is your new iPhone 6s. Here’s how.
Apple CarPlay is a function that allows your iPhone to connect to an in-car HUB using your Apple iPhone 6s Plus. You can use it with data from your iPhone, including reading messages, view lists and music, play music, and more.
While using the feature, you will get a similar interface that looks almost identical to the iPhone 6s UI. With iOS 13, you can even get notifications from your car, allowing you to reply to/call your friends, check the time, alarms, etc.
Some users didn’t like downloading a new app and privacy concerns did not help in motivating them to download CarPlay. While using iOS 13, you can still enable this feature. Just go to Settings > Game & Services > Car. Enable CarPlay. The downside with this is that you can only enable it from the iOS 13 Game & Services app. Otherwise, it will be turned off.
This should be a no-brainer for anybody who already uses the CarPlay feature on their iPhone.

4. Buy a new iPhone instead of trying to unlock it

I’ve had people tell me they’re gonna buy an iPhone from their friend and then have it unlocked. Don’t do that. That’s a bad idea. These days, if you unlock it, it voids the warranty and it’s also against the law. So don’t do that. You can go to Settings > Apple ID > Passcode & Verify Passcode and set a new passcode. You can then start using your phone normally again. To verify your current, unactivated password, just try to type in your number. You’ll see the lock icon appear, but it will just ask you to type your password to continue.
Why does the iPhone 6s Plus need a password to start using its features? There is a need to protect your phone. For instance, if it is lost or stolen, there wouldn’t be quite enough time to do a factory reset, which is what we need to do with iPhones to make them operational again. The iPhone 6s Plus is a battery-powered phone, which means it needs certain characteristics that iPhones do not have. For instance, it cannot run iOS 13, and the A14 chip is actually not that much faster than an A12 chip, thus, it would take quite a while for a new iOS to be released, making it useless. Therefore, the phone only comes with the latest version of iOS which is 6s Plus and that’s why it will only be usable till the next one is out.
But you do not want to be stuck with a useless iPhone. So you can try to activate it without entering your Apple ID and password. Apple has several methods for you to activate and use your iPhone 6s Plus:
It is therefore advisable to use one of the following methods first. When you are done activating your Apple iPhone 6s Plus, the best is to send it in for a factory reset which will delete all the data and optimize the device for the firmware update in the next one or two weeks.

Conclusion: If you have forgotten your Apple ID or password, then you will need to try harder to find a way around it. This article should help you get started in bypassing the iPhone 6s Plus activation lock and getting back into your phone again.

Bypassing the iPhone 6s Plus Activation Lock is a snap if you have the original owner’s iCloud login and password. But if you don’t, because the previous owner reset their iCloud password, then you’re going to have to find another way around the Activation Lock. Let’s take a look at several ways you can do that.
Activation Lock is on by default on iPhone 6s Plus, and it is supposed to help prevent unauthorized individuals from activating the new iPhone without your given consent. If you forget your passcode or your iCloud password, it means that someone else has access to your iPhone. Theft of the phone does not require any special equipment to do, and it is very easy to get the phone back if you can trace the device. Well, the iPhone 6s Plus cannot be returned via Verizon as this feature is tied to the user’s Apple ID, and it can’t be retrieved by a method other than those two methods.
Yet, there are ways to bypass this lock by using the old-fashioned methods of manual entry and guessing the correct PIN or pattern. However, iOS 14 introduced a new feature that works on all iPhone 6s, 6s (Max), and SE devices, the Smart Data Reset feature. Smart Data Reset is activated by pressing and holding the Home Button for three seconds and your phone will reboot automatically.
Entering the four-digit Apple ID password once more and connecting over Wi-Fi to your iPhone’s Apple server will prompt you to connect to iTunes and set up iCloud. Once the setup is complete, you will be prompted to enter your Apple ID password, and then your iPhone 6s Plus will be ready for you to use. Before you can use the iPhone 6s Plus, your iCloud login must be enabled, and this can be done through Settings > [Your iPhone Name] > Your Name > iCloud > Sign-In With Apple.
