How to set up Google AdSense in Blogger

One of the most popular programs for monetizing a blog is Google AdSense. It is very easy to set up and can be extremely profitable. However, there are some important things you should know before diving in headfirst. I have used this program on numerous websites and would like to share my knowledge with you on how to set up Google AdSense correctly, how much you can expect to earn, and where your ads will appear.

1. What is Google Adsense?

Google AdSense is an advertising network that allows publishers to earn money from ads that appear on their websites. You can join AdSense to monetize your website.
You can set Google AdSense to display both organic and paid ads. If you are a small blogger you may not be interested in setting up ad modules. However, if you are a Medium writer who relies on high traffic content pages, large YouTube videos, or your website is mainly for tech enthusiasts then setting up Google AdSense can be a wise choice.
Google does not disclose exact numbers but according to Google’s blog; they claim that organically driving impressions generates 125 times more revenue compared to paid advertising.
For you to set up Google AdSense you first have to register for an AdSense account either through their website or Facebook (you can also advertise on Facebook if you are an AdSense advertiser). Once you have a Playboy account whereby you are already logged in, you only need to create an Ad group and link it to your account.
Within the AdSense program you can enable two different approaches:
Organic ads should be your go-to option as it is based on relevant searches. It is easy to customize and reach a large audience but at the same time if you don’t fill out all the fields you could end up with fake or low-quality traffic.
Applying for an account with Google AdSense starts with applying for a few keywords that you want to advertise your book title or the current trending book topic. Once the keywords are approved, Google will assign you an AdGroup ID, which allows you to send traffic to your ad if the publisher chooses to serve ads from your account. Furthermore, Google ships traffic directly from the search query to the publisher’s website.

2. How much do you make from Google AdSense?

Many people who have AdSense accounts aren’t making much money from them. In fact, most people who use AdSense earn less than $100 per month from their AdSense accounts. There are a lot of factors that determine how much money you’ll earn from AdSense. The primary factor is the amount of traffic you have to your website. traffic can come through anyone in several ways.
Usually, traffic comes either through search engine optimization (SEO) in search engines like Google and Bing or by users clicking on your links in a blog post or website.
Despite where your traffic came from some people disregard the traffic regardless of the source. If you have a dull blog that only gets 10 visitors per day then you’re probably not going to make much money unless you have some huge posts that have resulted in some high traffic days.
Creating good content on your blog is not the end of the world. I mean, it takes time but there are a few things you can do to streamline your process and focus on quality over quantity.
Your content needs to be relevant to your niche. Whether this is food, health, personal growth, or whatever blog you’re running, your content needs to be useful to people.
People are far more likely to read and/or share a topic if it has a strong connection with them and has some substance to it. For example, if you run a business and write about the business then people would be much more likely to read your articles.
Contrary to common belief, starting a blog and having your own website doesn’t actually directly make you more money. It’s more of an incentive. As mentioned previously much of the terminology related to traffic comes down to brand awareness and name recognition.
If you have a website but visitors to your website are coming from search engine results, chances are people are not aware of your existence unless you went and paid for advertising in some way or another.

3. How to set up Google AdSense

Setting up AdSense is pretty easy. All you need to do is log into your AdSense account and click on ‘My Ads’. Then, click ‘New ad unit’ and follow the instructions.
It’s very important to note that if you plan to run paid ads then make sure that you have an appropriately sized budget ready. I would recommend you budget 20 to 30% of your monthly income per month. Don’t go wild like 20% every week though, as that would cause you to run out of money before you know it. Basically, there are three basic categories for ads: fixed cost, variable-rate, and pay-per-click. Here’s a brief breakdown:
As for how much you will earn, it depends on a few different factors. Some other factors besides what I have mentioned in this article will include the number of ads you run, if you have any Prifina accounts that you have linked to AdSense, how often you update the Google webmaster guidelines (the webmaster guidelines are just like an FAQ page for Google), how many pages you have, the keywords you are using, the location you are placing the ads on, and how many clicks you are receiving. Furthermore, the quality of your ads is also important.
Both Google and you need to agree on what percentage of your monthly income will go to Google in exchange for running ads. If you are running paid ads then Google needs a certain percentage of all your ad revenue, with the remainder going to you. Normally this percentage will be 1–2%. Below is a basic example of what I mean.
1. Suppose you run one AdSense account with a monthly budget of $5,000.00.
2. In this hypothetical scenario, if you were to start running paid ads:
a.) For the first month, you would earn 50 cents for each click. Thereafter, you would earn a fixed fee of $1 for each click.
b.

4. Where do your ads appear?

It's important to consider where your ads will appear. You wouldn't pay for ads to appear on sites and in magazines that don't have an audience that is relevant to your business. For example, if you're a dermatologist, you wouldn't want your ad to appear in a magazine that focuses on home decorating. You want your ads to be seen and heard by a specific audience on websites that are relevant to your business.
If you buy the cheapest account, you can expect to receive an advertisement allowance of $10 / day. On an average day, you should receive approximately $200 from Google. Let's see how this money is being used up every day:
You only have to pay an administration fee of $0.10 / day to start working with Google. You can increase your budget by more if you like or adjust your prices if you find it advantageous. First, let’s look at how I use my AdSense income:
I chose to set up an account with Google to monetize my blog. There were many popular articles about doing so. However, I was able to choose a system that worked best for my business. Here is my experience over the years with Google AdSense.
AdSense is a program from Google for monetizing websites. It can be used for more than just websites but also graphics, video, product listings, directories, lists, events, and search results. It is easy to set up and monetizes your website — no coding necessary.
Below is a breakdown of the steps required to integrate AdSense:
Google relies on your website traffic for income. Setting up AdSense is no different, therefore it is crucial that your traffic is interested in your products and services. It’s also important to optimize your traffic in a way that increases your relevance and utility.
Make sure you write good content that makes your readers interested in your content. These include:
I like to write about beauty and skincare.

Conclusion: If you are interested in making money blogging and have a website with some decent traffic, you should definitely give Google AdSense a try. You will be surprised how easy it is to get started and how much money you can make from your website.

How it Works
Google AdSense is an integrated program that helps monetize any webpage that includes a relevant Ad code. Basically, the program pays your website when your visitors are searching for ads related to your keyword(s).
Here is an example of how it works to promote your blog:
In this case, our keyword could be “part-time work in a new job.”
To promote this keyword, Google will display a list of relevant keyword results. The user could either choose one or click on a ‘Buy’ button to pay the appropriate amount based on the position of their search result in the search results. If a relevant ad is selected then the search results will be displayed.
To promote this keyword, the user could either choose one or click on ‘Click here to monetize the page. Due to the Advanced outbound Settings tab, we can select the URLs where the ads would appear and set them as well. This will be our blog’s landing page. According to our current ranking, we need 1M views per month for our page to pay off!
There are 4 basic types of keywords that Groupon uses in their program:
“Best cities for part-time work in a new job” is a competitive keyword relevant to my area. A page containing this keyword would definitely perform well if I put in more effort. On top of that, it would be great to attract visitors that are interested in this specific topic and would stick around for more.
This is actually a good keyword specifically for creating ads that will be relevant for when a user searches for this keyword. Due to the popular nature of this topic, you would expect to garner some illegal activity.
