One of the most popular programs for monetizing a blog is Google AdSense. It is very easy to set up and can be extremely profitable. However, there are some important things you should know before diving in headfirst. I have used this program on numerous websites and would like to share my knowledge with you on how to set up Google AdSense correctly, how much you can expect to earn, and where your ads will appear.

3. How to set up Google AdSense
Setting up AdSense is pretty easy. All you need to do is log into your AdSense account and click on ‘My Ads’. Then, click ‘New ad unit’ and follow the instructions.
It’s very important to note that if you plan to run paid ads then make sure that you have an appropriately sized budget ready. I would recommend you budget 20 to 30% of your monthly income per month. Don’t go wild like 20% every week though, as that would cause you to run out of money before you know it. How it Works
